Submit an Event
There are a few options for submitting your event to the217 calendar:
- Fill out our online form to send your event to our calendar editors. This is the fastest and easiest way to get your event in our calendar.
- Send us an e-mail at calendar@the217.com. If you already have a news release written, this is a fine option.
- Send us printed materials via U.S. Mail to: the217 Calendar, IlliniMedia, 512 E. Green St., Champaign, IL 61820.
- Fax us at 217-337-8328, make sure it's addressed to the217 Calendar
- Call 217-531-1456 if you have a question or would like to leave a message about your event.
The editors will review your event for appropriateness and may edit it. If you would like your event to be considered for the calendar in the printed edition of buzz, please submit it by 5 p.m. on Friday. Selected calendar submissions are printed in The Daily Illini and to be considered must be submitted at least two days before the event occurs.
