The University of Illinois Pollinatarium is the first free-standing science center in the nation devoted to flowering plants and their pollinators. Exhibits on beekeeping equipment, demonstration hive with live bees, interactive games, birdwing butterflies. Displays on flowers, pollen, bumble bee biology, monarch butterflies, history of beekeeping, pollinators in peril, insect societies, honey bee biology, language of pollination, bird pollination, mammal pollination, pollinators in pop culture.
