Pinchas Zukerman, conductor and violin soloist Even though Max Bruch wrote three concertos for the instrument, his First Violin Concerto is THE Bruch Violin Concerto. With its exceptional lyricism and powerful drama, it is an ideal work to showcase the chemistry between the Royal Philharmonic and Zukerman as both conductor and soloist. The program will also include Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4 in F Minor and Elgar's lush Serenade for Strings.
