Celebrate the music of Steven Spielberg’s films with a tribute to John Williams with the Champaign-Urbana Symphony Orchestra. Performance will include compositions from Angela’s Ashes, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Hook Jaws, Jurassic Park, Munich
The Patriot, Schindler’s List, and Superman.

John Williams is one of the most prolific and successful American orchestral composers of the modern age. Williams has worked on more than 100 films with many famed directors, including Alfred Hitchcock, George Lucas, Richard Donner and Steven Spielberg.

The CUSO is the premier professional orchestra in central Illinois. Led by Maestro Steven Larsen—a two time winner of the Illinois Conductor of the Year Award—the CUSO is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in the community through music performance, education, and outreach.
