Swiss pianist Louis Schwizgebel-Wang won First Prize in the 2007 Young Concert Artists International Auditions (on the heels of a win at the 2006 Young Concert Artists European Auditions in Leipzig). This past season saw his New York debut at Carnegie’s Zankel Hall and his Washington, DC, debut at the Kennedy Center. February will see his Krannert debut in Foellinger Great Hall, when he performs Mozart’s Sonata No. 2, Frank Martin’s Eight Preludes, three mazurkas by Chopin, and Schumann’s Symphonic Etudes.
