All summer, starting June 8th, every Sunday night, and some Thursdays(6/19, 6/26, 7/3, 7/10, and 7/17), the Lean Shebeen will be open for dinner downstairs in the Channing-Murray Foundation (Red Herring) from 7-11pm.

Delicious African Cuisine
The menu will feature a main platter each evening along with a variety of side dishes, tapas, deserts, juices and teas.

As part of the Summer Cooperative African Languages Institute (SCALI) Community Roundtable, we will also feature live music, film, art, and discussions during these evenings.

Come be a part of this collective expression of community, social justice, and peace. Please bring friends and family to share in some great healthy food, the good vibrations, and excellent conversation.

Proceeds from the restaurant go towards funding Camp Uhuru 2008, a local community summer youth initiative.
