A concert of innovative new compositions and improvisations, featuring Dorothy Martirano (violin), Yu-Chen Wang (Gu-Zheng, Chinese Zither), Armand Beaudoin (bass), and Morgan Powell and Erik Lund (trombones). New virtuoso works for solo violin by Powell and Lund; an experimental work for multiple metronomes and performers by Beaudoin; a tour de force contemporary work for the ancient Gu-Zheng, and; collective improvisations.
