LGBTQA??? Volunteer to walk in the Champaign County Freedom Celebration's Independence Day Parade. The float is number 51, and will line up at noon near the intersection of Gregory and Illinois in Urbana (near the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts) on Saturday. Check out the map of the staging area here. Interested parties should wear festive or rainbow colors. If you wish to make and carry a sign, you may do so. LGTB couples may want to hold up signs that state how long they have been together.
