Christy was raised in rural central Illinois in a family of musicians. Her acute observations of the human condition are conveyed in the vivid imagery of her songwriting. She has been heavily influenced by the blues, old country and Texas singer/songwriters. She has been writing and playing the acoustic guitar since the age of 14 and her travels about the world have only aided in her ability to move people though her music. She is living and working in Nashville, TN, where she is working on a full length album due out in June of 2009.
