Join us for the “Live and Let Live” Alcoholics Anonymous Meeting on Thursdays from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the McKinley Foundation at East John and South 5th in Urbana in the Dean Clark Room. The Live and Let Live Group was founded specifically for the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender/transsexual) community, although everyone is welcome. If you think you or a friend may need this attention, Live and Let Live is at your side.It is shown that drug and alcohol abuse is higher amongst the LGBT community than the heterosexual community. It is common that some individuals believe they are just “binge drinking” but in reality are abusing it. These AA meetings have been successful for 10 years and is still going strong.
