Dance at Illinois will jump out of the black box and into pristine winter white in this concert of beauties. In collaboration with Krannert Art Museum and Japan House, faculty artist Rebecca Nettl-Fiol will reconstruct her elegant Paper Song, a work performed within a large-scale white paper sculpture constructed by Japanese visiting artist Kyoko Ibe. New works by Renée Wadleigh and Linda Lehovec will be inspired by a stark, white stage gleaming with possibility.
