Krannert Art Museum provides an intimate setting to experience one of Americas most vital composer-performers, Pauline Oliveros, whose musical practice of Deep Listening developed from her pioneering work in electronic music, improvisation, and concentrated listening of all environmental sounds. Oliveros is also giving an Artist Lecture on November 16.
The Sudden Sound Concert Series presents leading artists in the fields of improvised music and the jazz avant-garde, establishing Krannert Art Museum as a destination for enthusiasts of today's most progressive music from the U.S. and abroad.
