For those who have missed out on seeing AC/DC in the past, here is your chance to see the Aussie blokes so famous for their schoolboy uniform clad members and raucous stage antics. Well, almost…
Champaign-Urbana’s own AD/HD will be bringing a taste of AC/DC in the form of a tribute show to Canopy Club on Saturday, Nov. 26.
A returning act to Canopy Club, the five-member strong AD/HD will pay tribute to the world famous rock ‘n’ roll band in a show that, according to marketing director at the Canopy Club Mike Armintrout, “will look and sound just like the real thing!”
“They will play all the hits – ‘You Shook Me All Night Long,’ ‘Dirty Deeds,’ ‘Highway To Hell.’ If you can hum along, they’ll be rocking it,” he said.
Despite lacking the pyrotechnics, glitter and antics of a full AC/DC production, these local boys will give the band a run for their money.
“If you like to rock, and especially rock to AD/DC, this will be a show you’ll want to see,” said Armintrout.
Tickets to see AD/HD are just $7 and will be available at the door. Doors open at 8 p.m.
