I'm not going to lie, I was really sad to see Basil Thai go but its replacement definitely did not disappoint. The ambience is cute but the food is what really made a mark on me. The menu is a little vague but the employees were helpful in explaining their various dishes and recommending their specialty, the Zyggy Roll. Described as an 'Indian Fajita' it was a great combination of spices and vegetables that was delicious as well as portable. I definitely recommend it, especially with the sweet chutney sauce :)

This is a shady place, which aspires to be great, with the only catch that the food is stupidly lacking in taste. I have gone , alone and with my Indian friends , three times, and I can say I am not going agian, ever, even if the food is free. This joint is just horrible. Our Pao bhaji was salty and oily, the rolls were laced with weird spice, and the rice was uncooked in the veg combo that we ordered. Ugh !
I had written about this place on YELP( http://www.yelp.com/user_details?userid=M6cVyWVqBthVqPHODZsSfg) but you cannot find my review if you go to Zyggyz on yelp directly. So, my (unfavorable!!) review has been removed from Yelp. There have been previous instances of the same behavior.
Do not waste your time and money here.

This place isn't a restaurant, it's more like home. I'm serious, the food and the care they put in the preparation is nothing like a fast food type restaurant. Even the guy running the place, he's either the owner or manager, was so nice to check on us and see if we were satisfied with the meal. You don't get that at a fast food place. The prices are totally reasonable, especially for a student's budget, but the taste is like a home cooked meal..I'll have to bring my parents in there when they visit. They must be doing something right because there were lots of other Indians in there too while I was there and all seemed to be enjoying themselves. And, the ambiance is really cool, sort of Caribbean or South Indian. Check it out if you're on campus, it's a must eat!
