So now that 2011 is over, and we’re headed into 2012, it’s time to reflect on the awesome we left behind, and look forward to the awesome yet to come! And there will be plenty, my friends. Literature
There isn’t much news announced yet on the literature side of things; no visiting authors to the university have been announced yet. However, there are a few things happening that I do know about, icluding two author visits to the local city libraries:
Champaign Public Library: Young adult author Julie Cross for her first book, Tempest on Jan 21
Urbana Free Library: Poet, author, and UIUC prof, Janice Harrington does a poetry reading on Feb 8
