    Following suit to some of the other talented acts emerging from Canada within the last five years, Tokyo Police Club have grown rapidly since the band's 2005 formation in Ontario. By 2007, the band had already played the Coachella music festival, released two well-received EPs, and signed a deal with Saddle Creek Records for their first LP. The band toured extensively with Cold War Kids in early 2007 and is likely to release their first full length in 2008.
