If you haven't heard of Glasgow's The Fratellis, you've definitely heard their song "Flathead" which was made famous in a commercial for the iPod. This tie in accelerated the band's rise to fame and and made their album "Costello Music" a big seller in the U.S. Their sound is like a pop-take on the punk of bands like Dropkick Murphy's, with slower tempos and more melodic vocal lines, but with the same swagger that makes their style fun and irresistible.
