    Formed in 1997 in New Jersey, Saves the Day are considered one of the pioneers for the current "melodic hardcore" style. With a highly revolving line-up, the only surviving member of its ten-year existence is vocalist Chris Conley. Having six full length albums under their belt, Saves the Day has garnered a reasonable amount of success with both mainstream and underground crowds. Despite signing to major record label Dreamworks Records in 2003, the group received little to no press attention for their following release and was eventually dropped from the label in 2004. Since then, Saves the Day has resigned to Vagrant Records, looking to return their roots and in the process of releasing "Under the Boards" in 2007.
