Ryan Adams proves to be the most influential and poetic alternative country rock singer anyone has ever seen. Ryan Adams has managed to pull out three albums first being a part of a band called Whiskeytown where his musical career started. He then went solo in the year 2000; he pulled out another four albums alone and then three more with back band the Cardinals. Adams is best known for his song "New York New York" after being a resident there for the first time. Adams' latest release Easy Tiger came out in the summer of 2007 making the mainstream airwaves to become another commercial success. This native North Carolinian went beyond expectations especially for someone who quit school at 16 to pursue his musical career. Ryan Adams' mellow tunes and country roots with a twist of punk rock influence displays a unique sound that only he can really have the title of "King" of alternative country rock.
