    Paris Texas is a punk rock band signed to New Line Records. They were formed at 112 S. Hancock, Madison, Wisconsin in December of 1997 by their barefooted bassist, Matt Tennessen. There name comes from Paris, a city in Texas. They are still active, since forming in 1997. There single 'Bombs Away' was an iTunes featured download back in 2005 which launched them into a period of semi-success. It is currently unknown if the band is on hiatus or currently working on a new album.
