    Dramatic indie rock band "Murder By Death," gets its name from the 1976 mystery movie of the same name. The band formed in Bloomington, Indiana and released its first full-length album "Like the Exorcist but More Breakdancing" in 2002. After a long summer touring in 2003, they released their second narrative album "Who Will Survive and What Will Be Left of Them?," a conceptual, body of work based on the Devil plotting war on a small town. After pianist Vincent Edwards parted ways with the band in 2004, they were left to continue as a less thematic, rock-oriented quartet, and eventually released their third album, In Bocca al Lupo. Inspired by Dante's The Devine Comedy, the album thematically explores sin and redemption.
