    Comprised of Matt Johnson and Kim Schifino, the Brooklyn based pop duo Matt and Kim launched onto the indie scene in 2004. After two years of performing, the pair launched their self-titled debut album in 2006 under the media group "iheartcomix." Matt and Kim's upbeat, danceable, electropop rhythms translate into high-energy live performances that have gained them a strong local fan base. In the past year, their popularity has grown exponentially, and they have performed at Lollapolooza and have appeared on MTV2 as program hosts, where their video for "Yea, Yeah" has run. Their other music video has also run on MTV2 called "5K". They have been touring for the last two years and took a break in November.They will be releasing another album entitled Grand in late 2008. In the meantime the fantastic drum-keyboard duo is back from a U.K. tour and is now touring in the States.
