    Margot & the Nuclear So and So's are a music collective from Indianapolis, Indiana, whose chamber pop has been compared to that of The Arcade Fire, The Shins, and The Decemberists. Richard Edwards formed the band in 2004 with friend Andy Fry, and the decided to name it after Gwyneth Patlrow's character in the movie The Royal Tenenbaums. The band released The Dust of Retreat in 2006.
