    Born in Sweden and with Argentine parents, Jose Gonzalez incorporates numerous musical styles into his soulful, acoustic guitar-driven songwriting. He released his first album, Veneer, in 2005, which included a cover of The Knife's "Heartbeats." He has chosen to cover a diverse range of songs to supplement his original works, including "Love Will Tear Us Apart" by Joy Division and Massive Attack's "Teardrop." His latest album, In Our Nature, was released in September 2007.
