Consisting of former members of the groups Jawbreaker, Texas is the Reason and Handsome, Jets to Brazil shares some of these groups qualities but with a darker tinge. Their first release, 1998's "Orange Rhyming Dictionary," surprised many with a fresh and powerful sound. They then released 2000's "Four Cornered Night," and 2002's "Perfecting Loneliness," on Jade Tree. Each of their albums has seen the group move further away from the sounds of their former bands and closer toward their own unique sonic landscape.
