    Swedish indie popper Jens Lekman started had no early interest in playing music at an early age, but within two weeks of picking up the bass at age 14 he was writing his own songs. Originally playing as Rocky Dennis, Leman recorded several limited CD-Rs and tour only EP's fleshing out his unique orchestral pop sound. In 2005 his single "You Are the Light," off his debut "When I Said I wanted to be Your Dog," hit top 10 in Sweden. Lekman announced an extended hiatus and plans to work at a bingo parlor, but quit the job and returned to music only two days in. In 2007 he released "Night Falls Over Kortadella."
