    They were just a group of high school kids from Atlanta, Georgia; Danny Grady on vocals and guitar, Steve Slovisky on bass, Chris Wojtal on drums and Jade Lemons on guitar. Injected was born in the mid '90s and was gaining popularity in the Atlanta rock scene. They were then signed onto a major label Island Records where they released their debut album "Burn it Black". In 2002 the band had reached the number 3 spot in MTV's Rock Countdown. Their success brought them tours with big bands like Incubus, Saliva and Nickelback. Their debut album also had songs that featured in movies like "Fast and the Furious" and "The Scorpion King". Injected made many songs for their next album but it was never released with rumors of being dropped by their label.
