A former member of the band Frou Frou is solo act Imogen Heap. In 1998 Heap was actually a solo artist before being a part of Frou Frou. She released her critically acclaimed album in the UK under what seemed to be a promising record label. Her album's exposure lacked, while her good reviews flourished for "iMegaphone and Blanket". When her record label was bought out by Universal she was one of the many artists that were dropped from the label. She then began a band with friend/collaborator Guy Sigsworth called Frou Frou. The duo had hit their commercial success in the Uk and then Heap decided to go solo again. Her sophomore album called "Speak For Yourself" was a huge triumph internationally because of popular TV shows like "The O.C." played her song "Hide and Seek" on their second season finale. Her songs especially "Hide and Seek" started to appear on many different commercials and TV shows progressively gaining popularity. The singer says on her myspace page that her third album should be released around April in 2008.
