    Grizzly Bear was originally a solo-project, the conception of Ed Droste. Horn of Plenty, the Band's debut album released in 2004, was made by Droste and never intended for major release. His friends started circulating the LP and it was soon realeased by Kanine. Daniel Rossen, Chris Taylor, and Christopher Bear joined the band and Droste's music was album to be played on tour. 2006 saw the release of Grizzly Bear's second album proper, Yellow House, which received much critical acclaim.
