    Gnarls Barkley is a collaboration between DJ Danger Mouse, creator of the infamous Grey Album which matched vocals from Jay-Z's Black Album with music from The Beatles' White Album, and former Goodie Mob rapper Cee-Lo. The band's first single, Crazy, released in March of 2006 became an immediate hit and was the first single to ever reach number one in the U.K. through downloads alone. Funk, soul, and hip-hop were all major influences and parts of Gnarls Barkley's debut album St. Elsewhere, which they released a month after Crazy.
