    Emiliana Torrini is a Italian and Icelandic singer songwriter that now resides in England. Her vocal talent combined with her tastefully soft compositions lend to a relaxing sound that moves the listener into a delightfully relaxing realm. In 2002 she was heard in the finale music of "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" after director Peter Jackson heard her and selected her for her vocal abilities. Her 2005 release "Fisherman's Woman" continues in the same vein as her previous releases.
