This all lady group was formed in Brighton, England 1998. Verity Susman, Emma Gaze, Mia Clarke, and Ros Murray are apart of Electrelane an indie rock band. These girls tend to have feminist lyrics and strong political views in shown in their music and outside of their music careers. Electrelane's first debut album was called "Rock It To The Room" came out in 2001. Their next album "The Power Out" was a little different and was recorded by Steve Albini. They had more vocals and complexity to their albums and the critics loved it. That released in 2004 and every year after that an album was released till 2007. They are planning on touring in the States and then Europe.
