    Elbow is an alternative rock band from Manchester, England formed in 1998. Elbow has found many critics who love them and give them great reviews. Although their critical acclaim is impressive their fan base is no match. Guy Garvey met guitarist Mark Potter at school when they were just 16. Guy Garvey became the lead vocals for Potter's band with drummer Richard Jupp and bassist Pete Turner. They were signed on a big label Island Records and was delayed their album release "Asleep in the Back". It came out in 2001 and it was praised by the critics. Since then they've released three more albums the latest released in 2008 is called "The Seldom Seen Kid". The band has done a lot for charity benefits and Guy Garvey has produced many songs for other upcoming bands.
