Echo and the Bunnymen was from Liverpool pool and formed their band in 1978. Ian McCulloch, Will Sergeant and Les Pattinson started the band together to play British post-punk music. They started out being a cult favorite and then went big in mainstream success in the mid 1980s. They have been critically acclaimed for many of their albums like Porcupine and Ocean Rain as their singles top the charts in the UK and US. In 1990 after so much success and a death of their drummer the band split. In 1997 they made a comeback by reuniting but have had less and less commercial success since then. Echo and the Bunnymen have had a great career and are sill making music.
