Dave King comic book author of Bob'n'Dave is also the Duke of Uke from Urbana, Illinois. He plays the ukulele and makes experimental and psychedelic music that goes beyond creativity. From his interview with The Hub Weekly he states, " I realized what most people were doing was using the ukulele as a novelty whereas I view it as a serious and versatile instrument." This C-U local has found popularity among the UIUC campus for his eccentric personality and known to be the guy in the banana suit, has found himself to be nationally recognized with his album "The Duke of Uke".
