The man needs no introduction. David Bowie is a musical legend in the eyes of the music world. Starting out as a singer/songwriter in the early 70s, it wasn't until he created Ziggy Stardust that he became an international star. Releasing over 25 albums throughout his career, Bowie was never happy settling into a single genre. Crossing the lines between and influencing a number a genres including punk, goth-rock, new wave and electronica and glam rock. Even though his music arguably became less important during the mid 80s and 90s, there is no denying the fact that Bowie is one of the most important musicians to come out of the 70s, and possibly ever.
