    With success as front man of the now-defunct indie rock group Pedro the Lion, David Bazan is currently recording and touring as a solo artist hoping to recapture a similar audience. His first solo EP "Fewer Moving Parts" was released in 2006 and since then he has toured with the likes of Ben Gibbard from Death Cab for Cutie and Johnathan Rice. Since then, he has signed to Barsuk Records and is currently recording a full length slated for release in early 2009. The lush melodies and soaring vocals that made Bazan a staple in the indie rock scene haven't changed and are sure to help him continue his reign as a solo artist.
