Having recorded his first two albums before entering college, Carl Hauck (2004) and Something to Laugh About (2005), solo artist Carl Hauck steals his listeners away with his vocals and guitar playing. Under the influences of artists such as M. Ward and Bon Iver, his music can be compared to Iron and Wine and Sufjan Stevens, among others. Hauck started off his local career by performing at the Canopy Club open mic. He has had the pleasure performing at local venues such as Red Herring and Mike and Molly’s, and has had the opportunity to play with local favorites such as New Ruins, Butterfly Assassins, and Santa.

Hauck released his third album, Counter Intelligence, in February 2008, and has plans of releasing a fourth album within the next year. You can download his first two albums for free at his website: http://www.carlhauck.com
