    Candy Foster has been creating and performing classic rhythm and blues music for more than 40 years throughout the midwest. Heavily influenced by the works of his mother, a popular jazz singer herself, and jazz and blues recordings of the '50s, Candy has earned a place amongst some of the best jazz performers of the Midwest. His energetic performances and strong vocals have over the years helped him earn recognition as one of the most hard working blues singers in the area, drawing enthusiastic responses from audiences. He is leading the group "The Shades of Blue," itself comprised of several talented and experienced artists who have collectively performed with performers such as Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, The Temptations, Natalie Cole, The Four Tops, The Marvelettes, Del Shannon, and Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels.
