The extremely talented Ben Kweller has devoted most of his life to making music. At a young age, he learned to play drums, guitar, and piano. After receiving honorable mention in a Billboard songwriting contest at age 9, Kweller formed a band called Radish and was quickly signed to a major record label. After not meeting the label's expectations, the group was dropped and Kweller began performing solo shows. He was asked to join the Lemonheads on tour and his first solo album, Sha Sha, was released shortly after. The record was successful and included the popular single "Wasted and Ready." He has since released two additional albums, toured extensively, and played numerous music festivals, including two appearances at Chicago's Lollapalooza.
