Pete Doherty is a busy man. On hiatus from his former project, The Libertines, he gathered Adam Ficek on drums, Drew McConnell on bass and Mick Whitnall on guitar to form Babyshambles in 2003. The English indie rock band has released one album, 2005's "Down in Albion," which led to the successful singles "Fuck Forever" and "Albion." Despite lead singer Doherty's issues with drugs and the law, the group has just released a new album, "Shotter's Nation." The band is hoping that the release will allow the public to forget about their infamous leader and their 2006 award of "Worst Live Act" from the Music Choice television station. The act is currently about to embark on their first British arena act in November.
