    In the numerous albums Andrew Bird has released, he has explored a wide variety of musical styles and taken a very scholarly, even scientific, approach to making his music interesting. He graduated from Northwestern University in 1996 with a degree in Violin Performance. His first album, released in 1998 and very different from his later works, showcases his expertise with the violin. More recent albums, such as The Mysterious Production of Eggs and Armchair Apocrypha, have brought Andrew Bird into the Indie spotlight. His unique live performances and diverse musical stylings make Andrew Bird one of today's most interesting artists.
