Adam Schmitt found success in the early '90s with two albums, "World So Bright" and "Illiterature" being released on Reprise Records. Both records were given positive reviews by major publications such as Rolling Stone and Billboard. He has been a part of the local music scene for more than 15 years, working with artists such as Hum and Uncle Tupelo at his home studio, Mixolydian Studios. 2001 saw the release of Demolition, his first album in eight years, released on Parasol Records. His blend of pop melody and catchy hooks has continued to be a compelling aspect of what has made his music so irresistible throughout the years. He continues to work on both his own and other bands material through his studio.
