YouTube pick of the week: The Village People

This gem of a music video by The Village People was a viral video not too long ago but it deserves another shot at glory. “Sex Over the Phone” is everything that would expect from The Village People: cheesey lyrics, terrible dancing, hilarious 80’s graphics, supressed homosexuality and a chorus you just can’t help but sing along with. This was also the title track to their 11th and final album that some think was themed after safer sex practices. If there was ever such a thing as an ear STD that you could get from having sex over the phone, this video would definitley be a carrier.
