Before he was a television host or presidential candidate, comedian Stephen Colbert was working at the famous improvisation and sketch comedy venue Second City in Chicago. This video, which is from 1990, shows Colbert as a business manager desperately trying to communicate with one of his employees. The scene is set up like a suicide watch with Colbert begging for the employee to come out of his office and talk things over. The revelation at the end of the video is very unpredictable and hilarious. In this video, the much younger looking Colbert shows that even nearly 20 years ago, he was still an extremely talented and funny man.
