From Waverly Films in Brooklyn, NY, comes the five-part series, Puppet Rapist. A paroled rapist returns to the world and tries to overcome his puppet fetish. He gets framed in a conspiracy of the PLA — Puppet Liberation Army — to release a gas that transforms flesh-and-blood humans into yarn-and-foam puppets. It’s a nasty city of betrayal, lust and murder, so bad at times that “they had to scrape the felt and googly eyeballs off the ceiling.”
