Brad Miller – Guitar
Mike Donato – Keyboards
Kris Ahrens – Drums
Dan Wonsover – Bass
2. Where did you get your band name?
Our friend Adam Zmick was shot in the leg right before the band got together, so we decided to name the band after him. Turns out his last name is pretty unique, concise, and easy to remember!
3. When did you start performing together?
Kris and Dan started performing as Zmick in January 2007. Brad and Mike D joined the band in August 2007.
4. Who is your greatest musical influence?
We like to think that we are influenced by all different typesof music, but specifically Phish (Brad), Dream Theater (Dan), Dave Matthews Band (Kris), and the String Cheese Incident (Mike D)
5. Describe your sound in 3 words or less.
Progressive/Concrete/Visual
6. What is your favorite place to perform?
Summer Camp Music Festival followed by the Canopy Club.
7. Where is your favorite after show party spot?
It’s gotta be the Wookie House
8. What is your latest album called?
We haven’t recorded an album yet, but we hope to do an EP over the summer!
9. When is your next performance?
We’re performing Friday night in Barrington followed by a show in Urbana at the Canopy Club on Saturday.10. If you could perform with anyone in the history of music, who would it be?
Frank Zappa, Trey Anastasio, Jerry Garcia, Steve Kimock, Buddy Rich, Jaco Pastorius and Grant Green all on stage at the same time.
11. What historical event does your music sound like?
The Big Bang
12. If you could own any house pet, what would it be?
A Mog - half man, half dog
13. What is your favorite thing to eat as a band?
Brownies

Roadrunner

Because we play a ton of shows all over, we’d like to think that we’re “roadrunners”

24. What is one thing you do that’s good for the Earth?
Our goal is to spread our joy of life to our listeners. Even if it just affects a small number of people, we still think it’s good for the earth.
25. What is your band’s favorite lunch meat?
Bologna, because Oscar Meyer has a way with B O L O G N A

Flavor of Love!

28. What is the coolest place you’ve ever traveled?
Probably just outside of Carbondale, Illinois for the Strip Mines Music Festival.

Thrown a space themed costume dance party with our fans and friends making aliens and robots for decoration all over the Canopy Club.

37. What is one cool thing you think everyone should know about you?
We’re extremely happy to be alive and feel very fortunate that we are able to share our message and music with the world.

We love all different types of music and believe that really shows in our original music.
