An old myth says that how you spend your New Year's determines how you spend the rest of the year. Though it's just a saying, make sure you bring in the New Year right at one of these locations.
Radio Maria
Radio Maria has the plan to kick the New Year off in style. The night begins with a four-course meal at a base price of $50. A vegetarian option is available. For as little as an extra $15, savor your meal with a 3 oz. pour of wine paired by the restaurants sommelier. Reservations are recommended but walk-ins are welcome. After dinner, start your New Year’s resolution by Salsa dancing the night way. Enjoy dollar-off draft beers all night and a champagne toast at midnight.
Boltini
DJ Legtwo and DJ Belly will be spinning the tracks all night at Boltini Lounge. Expect to hear a mix of dance floor favorites along with some old classics as you sip on that vodka and gin. Ensure you and your guests chime in the New Year right with one of the special packages offered. Choose from a six-course dinner or the celebration VIP package – a package for 4 to 6 guests, which includes, seating in a booth, a bottle of wine and a midnight champagne toast among other things.
FuBar
Celebrating in the campus area? Head to FuBar as Budweiser hosts FuBar New Year’s Eve Lounge Party. Dance to today’s hottest music while sipping $1 wells, $1 bottles, $2 you-call-its and a midnight champagne toast. Wristbands are $25 at the entrance.
88 Broadway
Sing in the New Year with the dueling piano men Bill Witherington and Larry Frost, as they take requests all night at 88 Broadway. Tickets are on sale for $10 for advance seating around the piano, but will be available at the door. Enjoy a complimentary champagne toast at midnight.
Silvercreek
If tradition is more your thing, head to Silvercreek for their annual New Year’s Eve Celebration. Enjoy live jazz music as you dine on a five-course meal including such dishes as roasted asparagus wrapped in proscuitto and Berkshire pork tenderloin medallions. Dinner packages start at $49.95 a head. An extra $20 adds more dining options like lobster and porthouse steak. The night ends with a countdown, champagne toast and balloon drop
