The student-run organization, Star Course, has just announced an upcoming show with Sara Bareilles on Sunday, March 1, 2009. Gracing the stage of Foellinger Auditorium, Bareilles is promoting her "Gravity" tour, an intimate production looking to further enhance the success of her latest album, Little Voice. Fueled by the chart-topping single "Love Song," Bareilles' show is sure to touch upon not only the single, but any number of tracks off the Grammy-nominated Little Voice. Tickets go on sale this Thursday, February 5th for students and February 6th for the general public. Tickets can be purchased at Ticket Central in the Illini Union, or by calling (217) 333 – 5000 and will cost $20 for students and $25 for the general public. Current chart-topping, Grammy-nominated rapper T.I. will bring a taste of Southern love to Assembly Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, 2009. Joined by special guests Keri Hilson and Yung L.A, T.I. is currently promoting his latest effort, the platinum selling Paper Trail, which includes the singles, "No Matter What," "Whatever You Like" and "Live Your Life." As released by Assembly Hall, tickets are $42, $39 and $35 for General Admission Floor. There will be a $2 UIUC student discount and tickets go on presale for UIUC students Friday, February 6 at 10 a.m. at Ticket Central in the Illini Union.
