From his work in Pedro the Lion to Headphones, and now a solo venture, David Bazan has released an overwheming amount of material over the past decade. The following tracks are just a few of the best that the Seattle musician has to offer:

    “Selling Advertising”

    Fewer Moving Parts

    David Bazan

A smooth rolling pop tune, “Selling Advertising” features some of Bazan’s finest vocal work.

    “Fewer Broken Pieces”

    Fewer Moving Parts

    David Bazan

“Fewer Moving Parts” is a stripped down acoustic piece boosted by the EP’s best lyrical content.

    “Backwoods Nation”

    Fewer Moving Parts

    David Bazan

“Backwoods Nation” is politically driven, and catchy, too.

    “When We Fell”

    Curse Your Branches

    David Bazan

Haunting lyrics with a pop aura, “When We Fell” is on all-around interesting track.

    “Options”

    Control

    Pedro the Lion

Slow, haunting and trippy, “Options” sounds like a later Elliott Smith track.

    “Keep Swinging”

    Achilles Heel

    Pedro the Lion

Awesome gritty guitar layers perfectly with a well-flowing vocal on “Keep Swinging.”

    “Big Trucks”

It’s Hard To Find A Friend

    Pedro the Lion

“Big Trucks” is The Shins meet The Counting Crows.

“When They Really Get To Know You They Will Run”

It’s Hard To Find A Friend

    Pedro the Lion

My personal favorite, the track is a melody made to pleasantly stick in the listener’s head.

    “The Fleecing”

    Achilles Heel

    Pedro the Lion

“The Fleecing” features beautiful lyrics with a hint of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young.

The show was really really awesome. He lets the crowd ask questions. He even gave his opinions on art, music, and the alcohol.
